I have always loved stripes on my clothing. Stripes make the look more eye-catching and it makes you feel like it’s summer time! Speaking of summer, we’re almost there! I have mixed feelings about it, actually. I’m excited for all the activities that I can do during summer time: hiking, swimming, exploring zoos, going to theme parks and much more; but I’m no fan of the heat that comes with it. I mean, I live in SoCal and summer can be really intense around here. Just thinking about it makes me a bit anxious, but it’s still spring so I’ll chill.
Anyway, back to the stripes. I wore this casual look when I went back to LA to bring my sister and my brother-in-law to LAX for their trip to Europe. I know, I know–I’m the official Uber driver of the family. Haha. Hey, I don’t mind at all! Especially because I can plan an adventure while I’m in LA and that’s exactly what happened. After dropping my sister and brother-in-law to the airport, my other sister and I went to Venice Beach to explore and eat, of course. It’s my first time to go to Venice Beach and I must say that it’s a pretty place. The shore is so vast and bare and the water is as blue as the sky. It was a prefect decision for me to bring my knitted jacket since it was chilly when we went, and my striped collared shirt fits right in with my jacket. I wore my favorite UNIQLO jeans and my white sneakers to complete my casual, laid-back style.
